Remediation & Air Decontamination
All Airbourne Building Solutions remediation works are conducted by experienced and certified agents in IICRC Water Damage Restoration and Applied Microbial Remediation.
We follow (ANSI/IICRC S520 standard).
This standard is set in place to prevent further issues of mould contamination to other areas of the premises, and to protect the health and wellbeing of workers.
Step 1. (non-invasive)
Airbourne Building Solutions will carry out an inspection and report the reasons for the mould growth. Provide you with the scope of work to solve any issue. If you do not fix the source of your moisture issue, these will become temporary measures, and your issues may reappear.
Step 2. (invasive)
We then assess the volume of mould contamination and what condition the building and contents are in, and if they are non-porous, semi-porous items or porous materials.
This will determine how we go about the removal of the contaminated areas.
Step 3. (invasive)
Carry out the mould removal in the safest way possible and prevent further issues of mould contamination to other areas of the premises. We also take all the contaminated contents with us or put them in a skip depending on the volume that’s been removed.
Mould Remediation
With mould remediation, it all depends on what building materials are affected and the class and category of water damage that has been recorded. This will provide the necessary information on whether the affected building materials should be remediated, discarded or replaced.
We also provide air decontamination.
Air decontamination can be used for inaccessible spaces in roof spaces, wall cavities and sub-floors.
Our chemicals are non-toxic and safe to use with your family and pets in mind. These chemicals have been highly scrutinised and successfully proven time and time again.
Airbourne Building Solutions do not offer mould removal when we have done mould testing, we only provide a scope of work for the reason of conflict of interest.
